The Institute Training and Placement Cell organized a career guidance session on “Strengthening Core Chemistry Concepts for GPAT Success” on 28th April 2026 for Third Year B.Pharm students. During the session, the speaker stressed the need to build a strong foundation in core chemistry subjects for GPAT preparation. He explained simple and practical ways to understand drug classifications by linking them with chemical structure, mechanism of action, and therapeutic use. He also guided students on how to pick important points from each drug category, prepare short notes, and use easy techniques to remember key concepts. He highlighted the importance of regular study, revision, and referring to previous GPAT question papers. He encouraged students to focus more on understanding concepts rather than memorizing, and to connect topics from different subjects for better clarity. The session ended with an interactive Q&A, where active participants were given books. Some books were also donated to the institute library. Overall, the session was useful and motivating, helping students understand how to prepare effectively for GPAT.
