F.Y. D.Pharm students of DPGU School of Pharmacy and Research undertook an industrial visit to NuLife Pharmaceuticals. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and enhance students’ understanding beyond classroom learning.
During the visit, students observed various stages involved in tablet and capsule production, including granulation, compression, capsule filling, coating, and tablet inspection. They were introduced to the functioning and significance of metal detectors in ensuring product safety and quality during tablet inspection. The students also learned about the different stages of packaging primary, secondary, and tertiary and their importance in maintaining product integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
The session was guided by Ms. Dhanya, Production Officer, who explained each process systematically and addressed students’ queries patiently. The industrial visit proved to be highly informative and beneficial, helping students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-time industrial practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
