The DPGU SPR Training and Placement Cell in collaboration with Alumni Cell conducted a Career Guidance Session under the Alumni Expert Series of Mr. Krishnakant Soni (Alumni Batch 2020), Senior Scientific Officer – Regulatory Affairs and Toxicology at Auxilife Scientific Services Pvt. Ltd., Pune on 10th January 2026 for the institute’s students. Mr. Soni shared his experience of transitioning from academics to industry and discussed practical aspects of Regulatory Affairs and Toxicology, including regulatory guidelines, documentation, compliance, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety evaluation of pharmaceutical products. He also highlighted career opportunities for fresh graduates, industry expectations such as the importance of internships and certifications. The session provided students with a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities in these fields, insights into industry practices, and motivation to pursue a career in Regulatory Affairs or Toxicology with confidence.
